Well, it’s back to sea again.  My son Josh and I boarded Royal Caribbean’s Mariner of the Seas on Sunday for a seven night Eastern Caribbean cruise to Coco Cay, St. Thomas and St. Maarten.  The reason for the cruise is that one of Josh’s fraternity brothers is getting married in St. Thomas as a destination wedding arranged through Royal Caribbean’s Royal Romances.  We had a beautiful day on Coco Cay yesterday – a tropical day at the beach.  In addition to fun and sun, there are optional jet ski tours, parasailing, and kayaking tours available for purchase.  The island is complete with a small Bahamian ‘Straw Market’, beach volleyball courts, water slide, water park play area and plenty of beach lounge chairs for everyone.  After sufficient sun, we boarded and watched the Bahamas drift away from the Viking Lounge – Ellington’s – on deck 14.  Today is a sea day as the wedding party makes final preparations for tomorrow’s big event!
