From our “Celebrity Today”

Welcome aboard Celebrity Cruises newest ship, Celebrity Solstice, featuring staterooms 15% larger than those on previous Celebrity ships, a half-acre Lawn Club (there is putting practice today!!!) with real grass, a glassblowing show (this afternoon) and studio, unrivaled dining venues offering trendsetting cuisine and design, and widely varied entertainment.  The ship’s staterooms are among the most spacious an inviting as sea, and feature intuitive design (based on input by female cruisers!).  These include more spacious bathrooms (a whole bunch of shelves and even drawers to put stuff – and a noticeably larger shower. 

Celebrity Equinox joins the fleet this upcoming summer sailing in Europe, and these two ships will be followed by three more ships, the Celebrity Eclipse in 2010 and two more unnamed ships.
